Smita Vallurupalli (born September 4, 1980) is an Indian pop singer, playback vocalist, and actress who has worked in Tollywood, Telugu Music Industry, Bollywood, Kollywood, and Kannada movies. She's acted in movies including Malliswari (2004) and Aata (2007), as well as the short film Dying To Be Me (2015)
Smita's skill as a vocalist was discovered in 1997 on the Telugu television channel ETV's talent show Padutha Theeyaga, hosted by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. She began looking for playback possibilities around this period, and she was able to sing a few playback songs.
